A big congratulations to Adam Fenster and his G96 Black team for a first place victory in the Kent Cornucopia Cup 2011. The girls dominated in the pre bracket games with a 3-0 victory over Rush 96 Classic, 2-0 victory over NSC Reign and a 3-1 win over Renegade Fire. PSS G96 faced Kent United in the Semi finals and won 6-0 with the help of some vigorous cheering from the PSS boys 96 black team. The final was played Sunday morning at 9:30 against Renegade Fire. After battling turf burns and other injuries the girls managed to hold Renegade Fire off to 0-0 tie and a forced PK challenge. During the final few minute of nail biting play slammers clenched the win 7-6. Way to go Slammers!! Special thank you to our guest players Megan Spataro and Savannah McGill. Our next challenge will be played in the crossfire select next weekend.
